The Brief

A large national estate agency approached me to design a new brand identity for an up and coming property development in the heart of Leeds offering a range of luxurious rental properties. They required logo design not just for the development but also for the different property housing styles. The land the development was being built on was once used for cotton manufacturing. This led to a dive into the history books.

THE SOLUTION

After discovering the right history into the manufacturing in the area and the surrounding fields and acres, I took huge inspiration from the cotton manufacturing industry. With researching the types of machinery, processes and product that was once produced inspired the design of the branding logos. Each logo represents parts of the machinery and produce from these cotton factories and are what the different property types are named after.

Each property type required a bespoke designed brochure that contained all the information about not just that particular property but the development as a whole. I included some of the history behind the brand creative to really sell the story of the development and celebrate the history of the city.
